Welcome!
We are one of the UK's leading Professional Associations, serving our members since 1994. We were formerly known as the AAPA until 2015. We offer our members a host of specialised services, including access to quality insurance, free entry to our annual conference plus much, much more. Run by experienced therapists, we pride ourselves on being able to support our members in every way possible. We are your therapy family. We are members of various bodies, including the Aromatherapy Council, The General Council for Manual Therapies (GCMT), The Reflexology Forum, and we are a verifying organisation for the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
We also accredit schools and colleges who deliver diploma courses and CPD workshops and online courses that meet the high standards we require and are known for. All our therapist members enjoy a high professional status and can access CNHC Registration. Wherever relevant, courses have to meet National Occupational Standards and Lead Body Core Curricula.
