Annual Award Winners 2018

CHP Therapist of the Year 2018

This award was presented to Sarah Yow MCHP who runs her practice and therapy school, Routes to Healing, in Cambridge and Norwich. Sarah was nominated by Carole Preen along with support from students and Sarah's clients who all felt she thoroughly deserved to be recognised for her outstanding quality, commitment and passion for Complementary Therapies. As well as being a busy practitioner with a large clientele and running a successful school for complementary therapies, Sarah also runs a support group for therapists and organises large events to spread the word of natural health to a larger audience. In 2019, Sarah has organised an event to support Women in Cancer Care in Norwich. Click here for details.

CHP Student of the Year 2018

This was awarded to Gerry Houghton MCHP who completed her Reflexology diploma with Julie Quinn in 2017/18 despite personal injury and distractions. Gerry is already a CHP member as she is a practising aromatherapist and wanted to add reflexology to her skills set. All of her work was of a very high quality and she was always very supportive of her classmates and is a very caring person and a wonderful therapist. Gerry practises in South East London.

Fellowship Award

We were delighted to be able to award a Fellowship this year to Sue Lincoln FCHP who has been associated with us for many years. We accredit her school "The Therapy Training Centre" in Scarborough, North Yorkshire and we wanted to recognise the hard work and effort Sue puts into organising such high quality standards that  helops to upholds the reputation of our organisation. We receive excellent feedback from her students about the support they are given during their studies from Sue and this was also reflected when she won the Best Training Centre Award from the Holistic Business Awards in London in 2015.
