What we offer

Like you, we are therapists and we know how hard it is to maintain a complementary health practice.  We are therefore committed in supporting you to make your life easier and give you everything you could want from your professional association.

Why we are different:

We have worked in this sector for over 30 years as therapists, educators and as representatives of our professions on regulatory boards and councils. We have been involved in the writing of National Occupational Standards, Core Curricula and for professional qualifications for City & Guilds. As a result, we feel we can offer you exactly what you need to help you run your business smoothly and successfully and we want to help bring complementary therapies back into the forefront of healthcare, including working within the NHS.

Complementary therapy associations vary hugely and some only take your membership fees with little in return. We want to change that for you. We are offering ranges of professional memberships to suit your individual needs. The student membership is basically free as you are reimbursed the £25 against your first year's full membership when you graduate. If you train with one of our accredited colleges, then you can apply for free student membership. Ask your tutor for the form. As a student member you will be able to get discounted student insurance, get our magazine and newsletter and have access to the host of special offers and support materials in out members' login area.

You also get an invite to our Annual Conference that is held in Croydon, South London each year. This is a fantastic catered event full of great talks and workshops with a chance to meet lots of therapists. Who knows, you may even get nominated for one of the awards!

We accredit schools and colleges that  offer valuable and exciting CPD training that will help your practice to successfully grow and give you confidence as a practitioner. Therapists who are continually updating and learning new skills are the most successful as they offer their clients the very best service.

We offer lots of special and unique serives to our members, only available in the members' area.

Each March, we sponsor Complementary Therapy Week and our accredited schools put on free webinars and create informative videos to help promote our profession. You can also get involved and use the event to support your practice as well as us as your professional association.

Whatever your needs are as therapists we know we can provide an exceptional service to suit you as we have all been therapists for many years. We want to see your business grow and help to make complementary therapies a respected and essential part of healthcare. This is done through quality training and CPD, all of which our accredited training organisations are proud to provide.

We are a verifying organisation for the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council, which is a free service for our members too, meaning that we can verify qualifications for any of our members who want to register with the CNHC in massage, sports massage, aromatherapy, reflexology and reiki and we do not charge for this admin work when you are a member. This is the voluntary self-regulatory body for complementary therapies in the UK, set up to protect the public. We are also a member of the Aromatherapy Council, the General Council for Soft Tissue Therapies (GCMT), the Reflexology Forum and the Reiki Council. We are also a corporate member of the Research Council for Complementary Medicine (RCCM). This means that we are actively working with our peers to promote our profession and support the interests of our members.
