​The Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)

 

CNHC is the UK voluntary regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners that was set up with government support to protect the public by providing a UK voluntary register of complementary therapists. CNHC's register has been approved as an Accredited Register by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care. This means CNHC has met the Professional Standards Authority’s demanding standards. General Medical Council (GMC) guidance confirms that doctors are able to refer patients to practitioners on Accredited Registers.

 

All CNHC registered practitioners are entitled to use CNHC’s quality mark which demonstrates a commitment to professionalism and high standards. CNHC Registration

CNHC has agreed that Complementary Health Professionals (CHP) may verify applications for CNHC registration for massage, sports massage, aromatherapy, reflexology  and reiki, and we encourage members to register in order to gain the CNHC quality mark. If you have any queries please contact Complementary Health Professionals by email at: enquiries@complementaryhealthprofessionals.co.uk.

 

Once we’ve received your Request to Register form we will consider the information you have provided.  Please EMAIL the completed form to us and DO NOT SEND IT BY POST as we are an online company.

CHP members get this verification service for FREE - without charge as one of the many benefits of membership. This means that we will do all the paperwork and mapping exercises for you without any additional fees being charged by CHP. The CNHC will charge you only for their annual registration fee as detailed on the application form.​​
